Reminder tomorrow morning!
Let's connect over coffee and conversation! ☕💙
C. Paul Barnhart Elementary's invites all Pre-K through 5th grade families to join us for a special Coffee & Conversations session with our School Social Worker, Ms. Joseph, and School Counselor, Ms. Travers!
Based on our Community Schools Survey, parents want more information on school based mental health services. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our school support team, ask questions, and learn more about the mental health and wellness resources available to our students. We'll discuss school-based counseling, the role of our school psychologist, and how families can reach out when their child may need additional support.
At Barnhart, we believe that when families and schools work together, our Blue Jays can soar! We look forward to sharing this time with you, building connections, and learning how we can continue to support your child's success, well-being, and happiness.

As a reminder, our daily dismissal car line begins at the O'Grady Place entrance to the school, NOT at the main entrance or the loop directly in front of the building. Any vehicles parked in the school parking lot or waiting in the front circle at dismissal time will be asked to move to the end of the car line. This helps ensure fairness to the families who have already been waiting in the designated car line area. Be certain to share this information with anyone picking up your Blue Jay.
Please refer to the attached picture to see where the car line begins and where vehicles should line up.
Additionally, all adults must have a valid photo ID when picking up students from school. Please make sure you have your identification with you each day.
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our dismissal procedures safe, fair, and efficient for everyone!

This month, we are focusing on **integrity**—doing the right thing, even when no one is watching! 💙
Integrity means being honest, keeping our promises, taking responsibility for our choices, and treating others with respect. We are encouraging our students to show integrity in the classroom, on the playground, and everywhere they go.
Let’s make October a month of **doing what’s right, making good choices, and being people others can trust!** 💙🐦

💙 Tomorrow is Blue Out Day! 💙 We are excited to see our Blue Jays show their school spirit by wearing BLUE from head to toe! Remember, Blue Jays are at their best when we are all here and on time, ready to learn and start the day strong. DId you know absenteeism in the first month of school can predict poor attendance throughout the school year? Half the students who miss 2-4 days in September go on to miss nearly a month of school that year. Start good habits now. Tomorrow, is also the LAST DAY to order Barnhart Spirit Wear, so don’t miss your chance to stock up on Blue Jay gear! 💙 Shop here: https://barnhart26.itemorder.com/ Let’s fill Barnhart with BLUE and show off our Blue Jay pride! 💛

Reminder: TODAY is a 2 hr early release. Barnhart dismisses at 1:30. All students must be picked up by 1:45.
